Dave Ulrich is a Professor at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a partner at the RBL Group, a consulting firm focused on helping organizations and leaders deliver value. He studies how organizations build capabilities of leadership, speed, learning, accountability, and talent through leveraging human resources.

Dave Ulrich has authored or coauthored 22 books including; The Why of Work, GE Workout, HR Transformation, Leadership Brand, and The Boundaryless Organization. He has published over 150 article and book chapters as well as editing Human Resource Management from 1990-1999 and serving on the editorial board of 4 Journals.

Among his many awards and honors Dave Ulrich has been ranked the #1 Management Educator & Guru by BusinessWeek, selected by Fast Company as one of the 10 most innovative and creative leaders, and named the most influential person in HR by HR Magazine for three years.
